Enjoying 300D But !

Hi guys/gals , thanks for your responses regarding my ILLEGAL use
of a G3 component on my new 300D ! Have been experimenting since i got it at the weekend , i feel for the first time i am starting to understand the basics of photgraphy . I have always had a passion for it but being self taught i struggle with a lot of the aspects . Back to my point , love the camera even with the dreaded
75 - 300 lense on , which i received this morn , i know not the best but finances dictate ! but my autofocus in the creative range doesn,t work any more , not a major problem i just autofocus in auto flick to manual focus and back to P or what ever , has any one come across this problem ?

Sounds like a problem. Is this low light only? Does this happen with other lenses?

I haven,t had time to check properly but it doesn,t work with 18 - 55 and 75 - 300 , at first i thought i must of disabled it somehow !

Sounds like a fault in the camera body. Should be covered under warranty.

Thanks for that but since we last spoke i re-installed the original firmware and all was ok with the auto focus , then put the hack back on and it works ok , must of needed re - setting , something for all 300D hackers to make note off !
