Bloo you wrote:Two years later: Ding dong. Remember us? You shot our wedding four years ago then you DISAPPEARED. We want reprints for the price you were selling them for FOUR YEARS AGO. NOW. We don't have our proof book. We sent it to my aunt and never got it back. We want to see your proof book... yada yada yada...
Bloo can you finish the story. What did you tell these people? Did you sell them a new proof book?
I love your Wedding Adventure Stories. Every time I read one, I thank God, that I only worked one year as a Wedding Photographer.

I wouldnt be surprised if he told them he didnt have them, and that had to refer to any form of contract stating that once the initial products are sold that after x number of time, is not responsible for replacing lost goods.

Yes, but I want to hear it in his own words
Best regards,

I want to hear more horror stories about strange brides and such. :D And the day I decide to get married I want Bloo Dog to tell me the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, about how a wedding might end up (good/bad). Gotta be prepaired! ;)

Excellent question! I was just wondering the same thing, myself.

I'd be honored if Bloo would shoot mine. But since I'm already married, he can come and shoot our anniversary party instead. And if he's late for the party, I promise I won't sue.

Yes readers - a sad and mournful ending to the Saga of "BlooDog Kvikshutter" and his many adventures in WeddingLand where evil MOTB's and other monsters live.
Are there no more Heros for us poor folk to talk about, round the campfires of our people??

Thanks for the offers for future work. I'd love to but...I'm scheduled for major surgery on those days.
I am sure that anyone on here wouldn't mind rescheduling the wedding for an evening wedding Bloo. Since most surgeries are done early in the am, you would have all morning and afternoon to recover and make it to the 7:30 wedding. No problem.
note to the moderators and Pekka:
Maybe we should have a new forum titled......Tell us a story Uncle Bloo Dog

I have been laughing myself silly at this post.....I don't know if it's because I love to shoot weddings or because there is way too much truth in all this sarcasm. Still, I have NO horror stories to tell yet but oddly, I wish I did have just one.... to give Bloo Dog a little run for his money.

Did you read about the biker wedding I shot in a lovely town named Roadkill?
 and Yay! One I've missed. I'll save that baby for lunch time

I am surprised that you didn't do some naked shots on a bike of some of the bikers women Bloo. Or did you? LOL

Hope you took some photos during that exchange of drama.. :) It's probably one of those weddings that your photo would become part of their family album.. :)

Bloo, I'd hire you to shoot my wedding. :) There won't be any bikers (but maybe we can get hold of a Vespa or Harley instead of a limo) around though as my family is quite "proper". Most likely I will disappoint the Thai side by not having hundreds of people and more of an average cost, but I do promise to pay you a hefty sum for your services. Heck, I might even let you take a shot of me in the wedding underwear on the bike. ;) It's a tradition in Sweden to give the husband a morning gift the next day. A few tastefully done photos of me should make him happy. (He better be!) LMAO Or I can always ask Charles to do it...

Jeff, would you please throw some cold water on Claire? And maybe throw some cold water on me too. I've started looking into flights to Sweden. I don't think she even has a fiance yet! (But just wait til she goes to the wedding in April in Minnesota!)
Sorry about that post, I think it was really late and I was being delirious from too little sleep! Been strangely tired lately. The other night I was taping CSI for my parents and fell asleep in the middle of it. Now neither of us will know who was the killer. :(
Bloo, I promise I won't arrive home with a fiance. Well, not unless Heather does talk me into marrying her brother. Ah, the things your friends want you to do so they can hang out with you! ;)

Bloo, if you don't take her up on this one, I might just have to! Now how much is a flight to Sweden?

Seriously, if I was anywhere near North Carolina I'd feel awfully honoured to pose for you Charles. Most likely I'd be the "BEFORE" [short, slightly overweight, mixed skin, flat footed girl] shot than the "AFTER" shot [insert gorgeous petite Singaporean flight stewardess] of Charles' Photography Magic.
Oh, and my flight to MN costs me about $600 return trip. I got a good rate. Think there are decent rates from NY. Go with Lufthansa or Icelandair. ;)

or come to an Irish wedding, where it starts at 1pm and finished around 6 the next morning - you get to drink 8 gallons of Guinness as well.

I don't think I could handle bridal boudoir, though. I tried something like that twice and I had to undergo surgery to have my tongue sewn back into my head afterward. I just don't have the cool for that sort of thing. The women thought it was funny, but they couldn't keep a straight face during the shoot. I mean, I was that bad. Sweaty palms, stuttering. It was traumatic.
After that, I swore off naked women. Then the mail arrived.
I learned that the Road to Heck is paved with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Editions. They make you throw it away before you jump into the pit.
I love the stories and the comments! Perhaps next time your doing the boudoir photos, take an 8x10 Deardorff with you to hide your head underneath the cloth, eh? If not, then give me a call. ;)

My mom was Irish. She came over on the boat in the 1920's as an infant. I never went to an Irish wedding, but when I got older and my great aunts and uncles who had immigrated began to die, I attended some of the funerals. They started out pretty solemn, but once things got cranked up, it might have been a wedding for all anyone knew. Great stories. Lots of laughter.
Is it like that in Ireland?
Irish or not, that sounds like a good funeral. It should be a celebration of their life.

Claire, no need to insert any stewardess. I'm sure you're as lovely as anyone I have ever photographed. I'm a believer that the beauty has to flow from the inside and it really does show in the images.
You are TOO sweet. Sometime when you are over, come by the studio. We're not TOO far from MN. Bring your camera and we'll do some shooting together!

I've hear Irish funerals are quite happy occasions. And yes, I like the idea of celebrating the deceased's life. Only been to two funerals in my life; my grandparents on dad's side. Both were really quiet things. As I never felt very close to them it felt a bit weird for me too. My parents went to grandma's Thai funeral a couple of years back. Going to the monks and some ceremony where I think they went out with a boat to put the ashes in the sea. Or something like that. Then everyone went to have dinner. LMAO
