WRC GB Port Talbot Stages

Used film mostly, here's some I shot on my 30D (My "new" 1D2 is still in service), used either the 16-35 2.8L II or magic drainpipe. I expect my favourites will be on the 1N at 16mm, I'm going to process all that film now.

I like 3,5,6 & 7. Unlike many, I do like shots where the car doesn't fill the frame and I think the B&W does fit in OK with those. I'm not so keen on the high contrast B&W with the more normal shots, it seems to take away more than it adds, but I guess more arty shots will get more difference in opinion.

The safe boring on is good ;)

I'm not a big lover of black and white on modern cars however these are all very good. The lighting works well with the B+W imo.

Like the use of light and Black and White suits ... the pictures aren't about the cars so much as about the light and drama. You probably already know my thoughts on the boring one ... they're about the same as yours!
