I am curious if any one has experience with green screen. We are shooting portraits on green screen and getting an anomoly around red items on the green bg. Has anyone seen something like this or a way to avoid it?

How are you lighting this? And how are you post processing the images?

Chromakey really works best when you can get broad, even light accross the entire background and run it about 1/2 to 1 stop over your subject.

Got any examples of the anomoly? You don't list your gear but you might have a Chromatic Aberration issue (aka CA)

Our gear is 40D with 28-135mm canon. Using a very simple broad light sorce. We don't have any problems dropping out the background on any color but red. Sorry I can't load any examples our firewall prohibits images leaving the building. We use 3 different software for the drop out but that is all controled by IT department. In the last 3 months we have shot 600K images on green and ,other than green clothing, red clothes have given us the most trouble. Since we are now shooting lots of pictures with Santa I was hoping someone had seen this kind of issue.

Most greenscreen problems occur when thesubject is too close to the background. Keep em 6 ft away if you can.:)
