I'm trying to find out how to show the Focal Length of my photos as a column in Windows "Details" view.

I tried installing the windows "RAW viewer" plugin. As far as I know it installed successfully but is no help at all. I also now have the ArcSoft Raw Thumbnail Viewer, which was no help either.

My goal is to be able to sort all my photos by Focal Length without spending $300 on Lightroom.

Does anybody have any idea what might have gone wrong?

Probably no help

I have Vista installed and in the "Details" I have a focal length tab. I am not sure where it cane from as I also installed MS Photoinfo - which seems to be no longer available

Probably some help

Directory Opus is a Explorer replacement - there is a forum, try asking the question there.

So the the Focal length is displayed within Opus - and is sortable.

My only grievance with Opus there is no option for Tags, their is an Keyword option, but this doesn’t display the Tags or Keywords I have already put in with Lightroom and WPG - whilst they are shown in Vistas version of Windows Explorer.
