I took a picture the other day and it has a object in it that I would like to have removed, Can any one tell me how that can be done, I did down load the gimp but I can't get it to do anything. Thanks for your help

Best method is to go back and shoot the image again without the object in the shot. If that is not practical then look for something called the clone tool or stamp tool and learn how to use it.

Thank you. I have been trying to clone it out but so far no luck.

I got it, I used photo studio, the software that comes with my camera and I was able to clone it out, not the best but it is the first attempt to do this.
Thank you dermit for the suggestions.

Next time you have a problem image, it would be helpful if you posted it so we could give better help. I did down load the gimp but I can't get it to do anything. GIMP has a help forum.

Anything within a picture can be removed. It is simply a case of how much time and skill is required to make the photo look unaltered that is the main problem.

If you can give us the image to look at we can advise better.
