This photos were not set up, I noticed my 6 yr old cousin playing with a TOY gun at a family party and I found it disturbing that he knew more about guns than i did.C&C welcome.

I've met a lot of guys in their 20's and 30's who look exactly like this kid, missing teeth and all, and have more guns than I can count. He is a like a 1:2 replica.

The only thing I see healthy about this series is the NBA wrist band. Tsk, Tsk on the gun.

'disturbing' might be too harsh a word for it.
regarding the picture itself - it's just a snap. no artistic flavor to it...
you guys should go easy on the OP... ALL kids love playing with toy guns! the only thing maybe i kinda dont like about this is the fact the toy guy does not have any indication it's a toy (aren't they supposed to have a red paint on the tip of the barrel?)
and that's me nit picking

what bothers me the most about these pictures is when i asked his parents (my aunt and uncle) what they thought of his behavior they acted like it was fine. I guess all boys play with toy guns, but still this was too realistic.

I think it would definitely be safe to call me a gun enthusiast yet these pictures make me very uneasy.

Not all boys play with toy guns. I don't allow my son to have toy guns, and I know many others who have the same rules for their sons. I actually can't believe they make toy guns that realistic.

i have no qualms with these images at all. ( maybe because we are weapons collectors, dads a weapons instructor for the marine corps) i guess im desensitised to the " disturbing" feel.
i think its typical boy stuff, and i like it.. reminds me of my little men.
granted they only have the big neon NURF blasters and stuff.
but i like it... typical boys stuff.

Definitely too realistic of a gun. My son will never be allowed to have one like that- personally I'd rather him not have any...
A little too comfortable looking with that gun too.

i really think you are all reading into this a little too much. i doubt it would be too far off to say that at least 75% of little boys have, at one time or another, had a toy gun.
and what does him wearing a toque have to do with anything??? profiling much?

profiling is a comon thing man.. it sucks, but what can anone do about it. i think every single one of us has been profiled at one time or another.

The first picture does show the red lining around the end.
Not everyone will have the same "feelings" about guns, but it is all in how you use and enjoy them. Some guys just collect and like to target practice, it's the one's that like them for other reasons we need to worry about.
He seems to know what he is doing though.

I agree that toys should look like toys, bright colors, completely different shapes, etc. However, all you folks who appear to be competely against guns and or training or scared of firearms....It's the uneducated and kids who learn without parents knowledge that are dangerous. He looks to be about the age I was when I received my first gun for Christmas. 28 years later, shooting and hunting are still a major part of my life. I guess the photos brought back some childhood memories....
