I'm still new to portraits and feel like I'm moving backwards! I took a look at some shots right out of my camera (XTI) taken a few months ago and it seems like I was having much sharper results.
I'd love any CC on this...

It looks plenty sharp on my monitor...I like the pic too. Check your EXIF on the pics you are taking now and compare to the ones you think look sharper (from before). You will probably see that you are shooting at wider aperatures which limit DOF and make focusing more challenging. Are you using the same lens?

I think it looks a little soft but like it is supposed to be that way...like in a portrait-y kind of way, ya know??
