Max size CF card for G1 ??

Has anyone hit the limit or know the limits for CF card size on a G1 ??

I have a 2 GB card that works great and just bought a 4 GB card that the camera "only" sees 2 GB of that card. I'm wondering if it has hit the limit at 2 GB....

Most likely, 2GB is the limit for the G1. I have an old 4GB card that has a switch to allow access to either the ‘left’ or ‘right’ 2GB halves of the card.

The Pro1 and newer G series cameras can use at least 4GB CompactFlash Cards.

Check if your card has that kind of switch, but I guess it is better to have two 2GB cards than one 4GB card with the switch.
