These are 2 pictures that I took while on a plane. Something doesn't seen right to me about the shots. Any comments or feedback is welcome!

I figure I should probably crop out the wing on 2.

I would not crop out the wing. That tells that this shot was taken from a plane not on a mountain top. Besides I like the second shot best. The biggest trouble I see if that the horizon is a little cocked. Nice shots!

Hmm... I think Venus and Jupiter are in the photos as well ;)

Yeah, I'm kind of wishing that the horizon was level. I'll probably see what I can do with it when I get back home. Thanks for the feedback!

You know I was wondering what those were in my shots! I was just trying to get the sunset. Thats kind of a nice surprise :D

Actually both planets, Jupiter and Venus, are still there. The Moon (a satellite not a planet) is missing now though. Sorry to get all pendantric on you.

Then it would be a fake image in the astronomy world which is what this section of POTN is all about . If you ever wanted to try to get an image published cloning in something that isn't there would halt an image from being published .

I think your original images are ok . Being in a plane has to be considered because you have no way to level an image except by eye .

I was aware of that... but I assumed that he wouldn't be publishing it. If for personal use, then I believe it's okay to make a few adjustments. Just like photoshopping skin blemishes... just don't want to make this suggestion into a full-fledged discussion. ;)
