Ok, We are getting hammered with snow tonight, so I'm thinking of traveling up to Lincoln NH tomorrow to photograph the Flume Covered Bridge.

Here's my approach with my Canon 10D & Canon's 28-105MM Lense:
>I will use a tripod
>I will shoot Raw
>Shoot either F8 or F11 along with a focal point of 50-80MM
>I will try using Adobe RGB
>Take a photo setting arameters to +1 Contrast & +1 Sharpness

Does anyone else have any other suggestions?

Thanks for everyones help!

Can you show us a pic of the bridge (or describe it), describe what sort of shot you want to take, and how it'll be different from existing shots? Otherwise people who don't know the place can't offer much advice.

When shooting in RAW, the file is unaltered, meaning your "photo setting parameters" will not have any effect on the image. You can apply contrast correction, sharpening, etc. in Photoshop after the RAW conversion.

Yes: don't forget a little prayer to have a sunny day ;)

Here's a pic of the bridge I will be shooting minus the snow. It will basically be a landscape shot. The challenge will be the snow cover around the bridge.

Yeah, stay home. It is brutal out there, wind chills are well below zero and road conditions and visibility are very poor. There have been literaly hundreds of motor vehicle accidents on 93 in the last 12 hours. Also, large portions of the White mountain region are without power.

Good advice. I just found out I would have to hike about 1/2 mile to the bridge and would need snow shoes in which I don't have. Will have to attempt another day...

Thanks anyways.
