A friend asked me to take some photos of her elderly cat who attempted to avoid my eye contact throughout the shoot and a very energetic dog (who insisted on humping on my leg while I lay on the ground trying to take photos). So here the photos are, comments are welcome.

Number 4 is really good :).

None of the others really do it for me though, although 9 is quite amusing :).

Constructive stuff:

13 would be good if it wasn't cropped so tight imo
number 1...composition etc are fine but to me it looks like it's been shot through a window :S...perhaps due to there being quite strong highlights on the left behind the dog but deep shadows on the right side? If it was uniform dark on either side it'd probably be quite a good shot...maybe a touch up in photoshop?Undoubtedly this will come out harsh as all such ramblings of mine do, but no harshness is intended :)

You managed to show the light in their eyes, very good.
#4 is really a great shot.

Thank you for your comments. Yeah I had some light issues and it really showed in number 1, it was late in the evening but there was harsh light glaring through those trees.

just my humble opinions
I love #5, but you need to crop out the person on the left side of the photo. Also, I would either of slowed down the shutter to get full blur, or sped it up to freeze his head. I like the shot a lot tho.

Thanks :) I didn't have a lot of choice with high shutter speed as I didn't want to up ISO too high but I probably should have tried the full blur idea.

I like the background too, just a nice and neutral NZ backyard.
Thanks for all the comments :)
