When reading about the a85 it said it had a 30 second limit for video recording. But I am getting longer recording times. Can someone clarify this for me, is it suppose to be like this?

You sure it's longer? Perhaps you're recording at a lower resolution? Either that, or you got lucky !

I've taken several (5+) video's in one night, all were over 10 seconds and one was 34 seconds. I was very surprised that it took them all...I have a 256mb card, so maybe thats why ???

*Edit*...30 seconds should be the max at the highest resolution...the lower 2 can be up to 3 minutes*

@ 640 resolution, mine goes for 30secs.
@ 320 resolution, mine goes for 120secs.. didnt try it on lower resolution...
My card is also 256.. so I dunno... about that 34sec video, what resolution did you use?

From what I've read, the max video clip length is about 3 minutes.
