Hello everyone! I just ordered one of these tripods from B&H after having downed a few glasses of wine. It's a new model, so there is very little information on the web about it. Does anyone here on this forum have one of them yet?

I needed one which was strong enough to hold a fairly large telephoto lens or a medium format camera when necessary, yet light enough to take into the back country. The 4 sections are more cumbersome than the normal three I know, but it won't really fit into my backpack otherwise. The ballhead I got to go with it is the light weight Acratech.

I have just bought the 055MF3, which is the same to all intents and purposes, just a little longer folded. Looking at the specs it will support 6.9Kg or 15.4Lbs so you should be ok. Strangely I will be using the Acratech ball head with mine, :)
