My new toy - 300 f/2.8

Well, I got my new second-hand Canon EF 300mm f/2.8 L lens today. I thought that this lens was big but WOW!! I can't wait to get out and try it. I will post some photos later.

Nice toy. When I was a kid that would have bought a lot of spauldings and stick ball bats.

as its 2nd hand - give it a good check out at all aperture settings - check the focus - auto and manual, have a look though the lens off camera make sure no dirt of deep scratches on the lens front and back

Thanks for all your comments! :D Although this lens is supposed to be second hand, the condition of it is well, MINT! There is not a mark on it. There is not one spec of dust on it. I could not believe the condition of it when I went to pick it up. I will give you a full report on the lens after trying it out today. ;)
