BTW be interested to know if theses shots look like my normal - I'm using a new monitor ans still haven't got the settings quite right

The absence of noise here always turn very nice the pictures (in cases as these)!! Great gradient, colors, contrast and... of course... the genuine predator moment!

Thanks MM for the comments.

The camelia shrub the fly is on is always slightly chlorosed (ie the leaves are a bit yellow) :)

Brian, slight yellow cast here - and yes, I've recently bothered to calibrate my monitor after moving to Vista (was lazy for several months).

Looks delicious! Nice shot. As for whether or not it's one of your 'usual' shots, I notice there is a slight colour cast over the entire image - a bit of a yellow cast.
