I'm doing some work with remote cameras (behind a backboard) and lights where it is suggested to use safety cables to secure equipment. I like the idea of using cable to secure things but I have a stupid question.
How do you 'tie off' or otherwise 'secure' the ends of the cable? Is there a clamp to secure the ends?

Dr. Z.
For my safety cables (thin wire rope from Lowes), I have a small loop at both ends of the wire rope with a crimp. I then use a samll Spring Snap Link (http://www.cooperhandtools.com/brands/CF_Files/model_detail.cfm?upc=020418201585) that attaches to the cable loop and then I normally wrap the cable around a support structure and then attached the snap link back to the cable.
