I am sure that I read in this forum that there is something afoot re the 24-70
Well I have just tried phoning 10 of the high volume and cheaper stores in germany and none of them know when canon will be shipping the lens which they have sold out of.
Read into that what you will but I have a feeling that something is afoot.
