Ha, did it. I don't know what I did differently but it worked!
Anyway, this was taken one january afternoon when the light was good. All I have done is to select bits of the pic and adjust the levels. I like it but I think I may be in the minority!

Very nice, Looks like it could be one of the Old Masters oil paintings in the style of the Hudson River School.
