I got it all here folks
Exif is in the image, but I was shooting 3200 ISO for ambient and ISO 200 to 250 for strobe.
A few shots I used 5.6 at ISO 500 just for the heck of it.

Matthew,
My favorite thing about this set is that it would take a real trained eye to tell the difference between ambient and strobed. I love the look of "Natural Looking Strobed". I'll guess that 1,2,5,6 are ambient?
Excellent work once again. Question... In 4 and 8, is there bit of black on the right of the images from flash/shutter sync speed going over? Or is that just light fall off?
John.

1,2,5,6 are ambient.
Thanks for the nice comments. The black on the right is just light fall off. I was shooting 5D using 1/200th (max).
The 5D does the job, but I can't wait for my 1D III to get here lol

Wait a minute, what happened to the Nikon switch over? Switched back so soon?

i would interested in the strobe setup as well. I assume these were bounced due to the natural look.

??? I read your 3rd post then had to look at the date to see if this was some old thread. You are switching back to Canon? I like these series of pictures Matt as the 5 handles ISO well.

lol Geez I didn't think my move to Nikon was such a big deal ;)
Quick reason why I am back, glass. At the end of the day there is more used glass at cheaper prices on the market than Nikon.
I absolutely loved my D3! But in the end I could get better glass at a better price on Canon.
These were bounced with some leakage. It was not the best setup to be honest as for girls bball they usually leave one side of the court with no bleachers.
These were on placed on each corner of the court I was taking pictures on.

Matt, the ambient stuff looks very nice although the colors in the strobed shots are just so much better. I honestly think you could have bumped the ISO a little on the last one and I might warm up a couple others but I'm nitpicking a bit. Nice work and welcome back to the land of white lenses.

All of the images look really nice. I'm impressed with the quality of the ambient shots for sure. Great work.
