calumet Vs Photogenic(Help)

Is there any one have this item>?Photogenic StudioMax III AC/DC Wireless Studio Kit and would like to give me your opinion on them. I have been looking at the geneis 200 light kit also.Am i better off saving a few bucks and go with the calumet geneis 200 kit?

The Genesis strobes are a better choice than the Photogenic's. I worked with and tested them both and as good as the StudioMax III is, there are areas where it's just not the best design and don't stack up against the Genesis.

If, on the other hand you're using them exclusively for location work outside where you don't need modeling lights and want an AC/DC strobe then the Photogenic's are very nice.

Once great thing about the Genesis (among others) is that they accept Elinchrom mount accessories and that provides a great upgrade path as well.
