Welcome to the forum. Love the shot. I've just blown my lens budget for the next couple of months on the 28-135 and accoutrements, but the 50 is next in my bag.

Thanks for the welcome. Hope you enjoy the new lens ... And I know all about blowing what you can spend for a while. I've got 100mm 2.0 on the way from B&H, but it'll probably be my last one for a couple months. Stocking money away for the 70-200 2.8 ... Gotta replace the 75-300. It's just not sharp.


I can't believe that the 50mm 1.8 is only $80. That lens has me sold on primes. I like the lens (18-55) that came with my DRebel, but, at 50mm, there's really no comparison.
