Hi all.
I was having a squizz through this forum yesterday and got all inspired by some of the superb shots of water drops. So much so that I gave it a go for the first time myself.
My set up was pretty primitive.....a backdrop (consisting of one of my flatmate's yellow work manilla folders) leaned up against a set of draws, the top draw pulled out with a zip lock bag full of water suspended by a piece of string and a pin hole poked in the bottom corner of the bag. Water drops falling into a glass. The camera supported on a couple of pieces of firewood from the garage.
Camera is a 450D and I was using 25mm of extension tubes behind my 17-85mm IS.
All in all I was pleasantly surprised with how a few of them turned out.
Interestingly, the only difference in settings between the first and second shots below was the first was set on 'AWB' and the second on 'Tungsten'.
Love to know what you all think of them.
Thanks, Matt.
