my first err 99 [Archive] - Canon Digital Photography Forums

hey all, had mt first Err 99 on my 20D tonight. Just removed my battery and it went away...but I am wondering how serious is this or not at all? Is it kind of just like your home PC freezing and needing a reboot then all is well?

I wouldn't be too worried about it. I used to get them every now and then on my 10D and did just what you did. Now if it was frequent you might want to have it checked.
