A wedding - but of a different kind

Several dance troupes, kids who are learning to dance the classical dance form of Bharatanatyam (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bharatanatyam) of India performed last week in Plano/Richardson. The dance composition was based on the legendary King Rama's wedding to Sita (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lord_Rama). Wikipedia links included if you want to know more...

My daughter performed and I was able to shoot the event. All shot in available light as flash photography was not permitted. As always C/C welcome.

Yep, the girls looked gorgeous. I am a sucker for colorful costumes, they add to the drama and expression of Indian dance forms.
