Radio triggers, Fakesphere, Toilet seats, you can find all of them on ebay.
This is what I found (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ring-Flash-Adapter-Nikon-SB600-D300-D200-D60-D70s_W0QQitemZ140283156808QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Ca merasPhoto_CameraAccessories_CameraFlashUnits_JN?h ash=item140283156808&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1300%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C 240%3A1318) on ebay.
Is anyone using this here?
Sample shots will be nice including the ring flash facing the mirror to show the light is evenly spread around.

I have seen a demo of it during a photo expo. It worked well in terms of shadows, but was not extremely powerfull, as it takes the light from your flash and it distributes it around through optical fibres.
Be careful that you pointed to the version for Nikon.

The ones I seen demo seem to be a tad brighter at the top with a slight fall off toward the bottom

How much material do you think was used in that product?
I was looking for the price of optic cables, without searching too much I found this:

I am sure the HK maker gets it for far less.
The $100 price tag seem a bit high IMO.

I saw a DIY where a guy made his own. The finished product looked very similar.

My only question is if it works the same as the original ringflash which I own.

That has to be a knock-off. The real thing is 3 times as much.

strobe monkey I think this link might answer your question.

It looks like the knock off isn't quite as good but not bad for $99.
