CC on this die cast pls

I snuck into a coworkers office today and stole one of his trinkets from his desk. This guy is a huge car freak and a software engineer geniuis who is always helping me with tough bugs. Every year I try to build him something (amateur wood worker lol) This year, I thought I'd try one of those motivational posters you see in offices.

Please offer any advice, I don't want my pic to look like crap.

Play a little with perspective. This photo seems dead in its tracks. Try to make the model car behave like a real car... you might be able to achieve this by taking the shot from a different angle. Can you pose the wheels?

Also... look for something that doesn't create a double reflection.

And try for a real sharp focus; you'll need it if you go big. This one seems OOF.
