buddies father in law took his old JD out today, snapped a pic as he was putting it up..orig color, but felt b&w captured the age of the tractor better

wish you didn't cut off the rear tires... could have moved the camera down a little bit...

When I think of John Deere, a color comes to mind. Can we see the color version?

Thanks Bryant.
It looks a little overexposed on my screen. Remove some of the brightness, and give it a little contrast boost and it should look much better. Shooting at ISO 1600 probably didn't help much either. ;)

you're right...im just afraid to lower the iso b/c w/ the quantaray not having IS, i'd rather it be a little overexposed and clear then proper exposure and blurry

Here is a quick and dirty edit to give it a touch of age and to tone it down a bit. Did a levels adjust...brought the gray level down to .75....Did an across the board tonal contrast enhancement...set to +15. Did a global desaturation to -60. Not sure what you are doing for a photo editor, but play around with your controls...you will be surprised how you can alter a shot.

edit is stellar. I like the shot but it needs the editing that was done.
