So what did he miss? The backs of two guys out of range without the ball.

Yes, the guy was down for 3-4 minutes. However, he did continue with the game.

Precisely.
If that were me (the other guy) I wouldn't even be looking at the action down there as it would be far too far away. However, missing a goal is unforgivable, should be some serious questions asked by his boss as to why he missed the goal...I know mine would kick my ass.
Nice shots though, while premier league has the big names, lower leagues has some good tackles like that.
James.

Great shots Roy, yet again. In or out of water you're the master of action pics. Must be great to have heat and light though. Last few games I've done it's been 3-4 degrees above zero and heavy drizzle and totally overcast.

Thanks red dog, still an amateur and learning every day.
Yes, the light in Fuerteventura is wonderful, and with an ISO of 200-400, action can still be frozen with even the slowest of lenses.
Must say, that I am very happy with my 100-400 IS and 40D combination.
I don't envy 3-4 c, or rain .... :-)
Happy Christmas,
Roy
