I've been looking at some of the mamiya MF film cameras on the secondhand market and the quality of pictures they produce and i've never really touched film before but its something i want to dabble in..
I know about film scanners and please forgive my ignorance but how exactly do they work? Can i scan the film direct from the camera or does the film need to be fully developed the usual way and then scanned?
Trying to work out costs for this as if i have to develop each film before i scan it then it could end up working out costly..
