so i finally got my 5D classic w/ 24-105L this past weekend and i have a 24-70L coming this friday as well. and my friend is throwing a toys for tots lounge/bar event and he's going to dj. i'll be shooting the event and i can't wait to take the 5D out for a real test drive.
i looked at the ubran section and it seems like the general ppl that shoot clubs and bars are using ISO800 with flash and a +/- 1/25 shutter? ISO800 should be enough to capture the ambient background lights while the flash does its job to fill the subject? i have a stofen difuser on my flash so it'll somewhat difuse the subject right? i don't want the subject to look like a deer in the headlight. flash should be set on ettl or manual? and what power?
