My father wanted me to find a nice camera that would take quality pictures of furniture, homes, etc., that's the industry he's in and he needs something where he could just take out and snap photos without settings the camera up beforehand, something easy to use.
I've been looking at the Rebel XTi, but that might be too confusing for him as he has no clue what any of the settings are and English is his second language, but of course I could probably teach him some basics.
I'd love to get some opinions on what would be a decent camera to get.

Knowing what his budget is might give us some help? I'd love to get some opinions on what would be a decent camera to get. They're all "decent cameras", but in some situations, this "just take out and snap photos without settings the camera up beforehand, something easy to use." sounds like a recipe for disaster to me, especially if he needs "quality pictures"?
