Perfect North Slopes openning weekend

Well I'm new here and this is actually my first post. Feel free to give me all input. All were shot with my 70-300 on an xsi

No faces
#3 and #4 are too wide.
#2 has a very busy, and very in-focus, background. It takes away from the picture.
Im just not a huge fan of the angles.

How long are you up there? Angela and I normally make it up there a couple times a year. You can watch me fall on my ass a whole lot. Thatll be a great picture opportunity.

yeah it's hard to get a good photo with all that is in the background up there as well as the lens I was using does not open wide enough :/... but you have to deal with what you are given.

I could have sworn you said you were up at North more. Ah well. I doesnt matter. I fall equally well at all slopes ;)

Yup faces are the first thing to come to mind for me. Looks like nice light and good exposures, plus I'm a sucker for hand drags but gotta have that face.

Nice to see some priority in a park....ours won't be open till probably late Jan at the earliest.

Although I find the crops and lack of faces a little bland, I really love the desaturated-with-reddy/orangy-tones look you've got going.

Cool shots. I've thought about taking the cam down when we go. We'll probably be at Perfect North nearly every weekend this winter.
