She's a student at the school I work and had asked me to take pictures of her for some time. We finally got to it yesterday after school. Think it's my first "session" with someone who isn't a close friend. :)

Very nice, Claire!

I like 1, 4 and 6 best, with 6 maybe being my favourite because it has such a nice 'dreamy quality' to it.

3 might also be very nice, but I think that the background is a bit too strong ... maybe tone down that in PS a bit.

All in all, I think she will like the pictures very much.

Best regards,
Andy

Thanks everyone. I'm not sure how it's showing on your screens. I did the PS work on my mom's new computer and that screen has so much more contrast than my laptop! Was a bit worried how the colours etc would turn out.

Andy, a lot of the shots I took looked really nice with more gaussian blur for that dreamy effect. I was utterly tempted to have that "dreamy" cloud, but opted not to right now. Figured she probably wanted something more realistic, but I'll definitely play around with it later. Some poses with more blur made it look quite romantic.

One and three are the standouts for me, particularly one, it's extraordinary in the way it pulls you in.

FlipsideE,
I'm definitely going to tell her that you guys like the pics and find her pretty! She has been through a lot this girl. Far too much for her tender age (15). Her self-confidence isn't the best at all, but she found it fun to pose for the pictures. We went through them on the LCD and she told me which ones she thought we should delete etc. She seemed to enjoy the interaction and being able to give her input. I kept telling her too that she has really nice eyes and I love her hair let out. (We took shots with it in a ponytail, but it looked weird).

Very nice shots....the only thing I would say is that the watch in the 5th shot is distracting to me.

John, oh good you said that! I never even thought of that. In all honesty I didnīt even notice it until you mentioned it! :o I'll try to remember things like that in the future.
