I took a shot of the moon the other night. Seemed nice enough, but I thought it needed some company. So, I added a starburst from my software. Hope you like the results.

Wow what a nice shot and this was with your 400mm right?

I caught the moon bug back in August and was getting some fantastic shots with the gear I had so I bought a 500L about a month ago and I've had almost no luck whatsoever getting any good shots with it. It seemed like 1 out of every 8 shots was IN Focus and not the other way around. This was even during the day.

Seeing this and looking back on my others taken with my 70-300 makes me really think there is something up with my 500 :-(

Yes it was with the 400. I steadied my arm on a fence post and took around 40 photos in all. Changing settings til I got what I thought was the best i could do.

Very nice, I like the detail in the second image, but even though I know you did it for a bit of fun I do think the starburst ruins it a bit. :)

Moon looks pretty good but i can't really tell since you added the star burst . This makes it art adding something thats not there for real .
