Hey guys, I forget what the american names for them are - sorry, but I'm sure you know what i'm tlakign about.
How does the new 5mp ixus compare with the old in image quality? Now, obviously from the outside, everythign looks 100% better, better size/weight/battery/screen/movie mode, but how are the photo's coming up when crammed into that tiny body? Anyone taken some shots? Hows the noise compared to the 500. Also, and info on the isus 70 would be appreciated aswell :)

Here in the US, the IXUS 500 is known as he s500. The IXUS 50 is knowas as the SD400. If you're looking for speicifications to compare, the are here:

The fact that the IXUS 50 uses the DIGIC II chip while the IXUS 500 uses the original DIGIC says a lot about how the image quality will compare, i.e. the IXUS 50 images should be much better than those from the IXUS 500.
