Well I haven't posted for a couple of months so thought it was time I got back into the habit, it was the media day for the Specsavers Christmas Stages Rally at Croft today so the local press and TV got a chance to see some of the cars in action and get a few passenger rides it also gave me a chance to play with my new toy which has been lying here for a couple of months and I have to say I was impressed.

Anyway onto some photos

the mk2 escort is soooo much cooler than the new stuff, which all has too much grip

The passenger in 1 gets my vote. :D:D

But really I agree with GrahamS. The MKII cocking a wheel is awesome

Great to see you posting again Ian :D.

I was disappointed I couldn't accept Larry's invitiation and get along to the media day, particularly when passenger rides were on offer.

Was hoping Proctor would be using that car, and very nice it looks too.

I nearly spilled my cup of tea with the caption for #8 .

I'm going to stick my neck out and say the new toy starts with an 'F' :D

Cheers,

Simon.

Stunning set Ian, the clarity and lighting in all of them is superb. If I was forced at gun-point to pick a favourite, I'd go with Proctor's Impreza in #5.

The passenger in #1 certainly spruces things up a little...

Cheers,

Rhodri.

Yes it does begin with an f as in fecking big lens;) I have aquired a Canon 600mm and it makes the 300mm f2.8 see rather small:o

See, knew I was right .

'Twas a bit short notice for me I'm afraid to re-arrange things to get along. Never mind, sure we'll catch up a week on Sunday.

Cheers,

Simon.

Had a feeling it could of been the 600mm as the exif shows, but wasn't sure if you had a 2x on the good old 300 2.8, nice purchase Ian.
