I got no response over at Urban Life, so I thought I'll post it here for critique anyway. I liked the cracked wall going through the graffiti, and thought the postprocessing and texture would work well for design purposes (minus the frame probably). Any c&c is welcome.

I think this is the first time I've ever seen a photo with that I liked the frame in. I think it's a decent shot for what it is, although it could probably stand to use a bit more sharpening. I also think you should warm it up a bit; it seems like the orange is just a bit overwhelming.

Thanks about the frame. You mean cool it right? Warming it makes it even more orange, no?

The way I understood it (and I could be wrong here), but when I read it, I remember that it has to do with reference to actual heat. Blue flames are hotter than orange flames, therefore warming is more blue. I could be completely off base as I only read it once about a year ago, but that's the way I remember it. I think I'll go look it up now :-P.

It's the TV Production professional in me speaking but I wonder why they chose to put videotape reels on a projector?
As for your image of it: I like it...

^ hahaha :) Anyway, Juicebox, you are right, scientifically speaking. The higher the temperature of an object, the higher the peak frequency of the light emitted (that's my physics degree speaking), so the bluer the color. But apparently it's quite taken for granted in photographic circles that warm is actually redder and cool is bluer. Well, it's actually ingrained in everything around us. Water tap colors, etc... I think it arises from the association of fire and danger with red and the sea with blue.

Probably. I couldn't find any link explaining what I did, but if I come across it I'll post it up.
