Does the G7 have RAW?

I have been confused by reviews of the G6, G7, G9, and G10. All except the G7 say that they have RAW mode, yet I don't see any reason why the G7 while having the same build as the G9 and G10 wouldn't.

no it doesnt. been covered a number of times.
you can hack it with CDHK to add RAW and other features if you so wish.
the screen and RAW feature was the only difference between the G7 & G9.

or Canon USA and read up on the specs for the camera.

I did that already. They didn't say the camera didn't have RAW, they simply didn't state it, so that's what confused me.

well thats how these things usually work.
they list what a camera does have, not what it doesnt.

id highly suggest the CDHK hack if your in need of RAW out of the G7.
