What effect, if any, does the AWB have on the results of the red enhancer? Nothing, lessen, eliminate? I use the filter for fall foliage and Arizona/Utah red rock country. Thanks.

I suspect AWB would handle reddish light poorly, just as it handles incandescent light poorly.
You're the one with the filter. Why don't you do some tests and tell us?

Put the filter on the lens, photograph a white wall or sheet of paper with the camera set to AWB, look at the result.
