Hi,

Can any help me out with the following:

I'm looking to buy a book concerning this program (Premier Pro) that will be able to supply me with the proper resources to teach myself how to use the program. It should come with a cd or two, such that these will act as supplements to my self teaching process. I know some of the basics already but i need this books to act both as a teaching tool for myself, as well as a reference guide.

Do any of you have any suggestions as to what book would suite my needs?

Any help/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I've heard the "book for dummies" is ok. I'd search Amazon once you get a few ideas from people here.

Have you tried taking a look at the Adobe Premiere Pro Classroom in a Book? I personally have not used this book but I have used a book from the series for another Adobe software product and it was pretty good.

And if you haven't done so already, you might also want to take a look at the reference book that comes with the software. Also, there is a tutorial that's accessible from Premiere Pro's Help. Everything I know about Premiere Pro (and I consider myself pretty good at it) came from the reference book and the "Help" in Premiere Pro itself.

Adobe Premiere Pro Classroom in a Book is a very good recomendaton. It comes with a DVD that has all the sample files you need for several step by step lessons in the book. I have a copy that I have used myself. It takes you through the basics and many of the more advanced features of Premiere Pro.

the best thing to do is get the "dummies" book . my mom had a book called "cocatails for dummies" and it gives you pictures, a lot of information, and there are al kinds of books for "dummies". so here are the steps 1. go in ebay 2. search up whatever you want make sure it sais for dummies at the end 3. it will tell you the price and if you the price and if you spend that amount or more you will get a email and it will be in the mail.
