How to people power their lights on location? Just wondering in case some places do not have access to power outlets.

Battery packs, such as the vagabond II from Alienbees, Ranger series from Elinchrom, etc.

Gas generators, or sine wave invertors connected directly to the 12VDC battery posts

It's important to know what you want to power. Digitally controlled strobes? Analog? 1 light? 4 lights?
