First baby shoot

This was taken earlier this fall/late summer. I pulled it off of the old hard drive and thought it was worth sharing.

The image is very very sharp on the right eye and you can see the babies little eye lashes. Colouring also looks nice and very natural.

I agree - there doesn't appear to be anything distracting in the background that enforced such a shallow dof. I would have said an aperture choice (light permitting!) of between f5.6 & f8 would have been ideal - just push the ISO a little.

This shot was taken with my Canon XT. If I were to redo this with my new 50D, the ISO push would have been a breeze! Thanks for the compliments everyone.

I'm not sure that I'd have gone for the "up the nose" shot myself, but otherwise very nicely done!
