I am not sure if anyone could help me out. I am trying to figure out how to pose 35 cheerleadings in one picture, my backdrop that I am useing is 20x10. I don't want them to be all in a line and look stiff. i would like some thing different and I am haveing a little trouble coming up with something. The photo shoot is the end of Jan. If any one could help that would be great.
Thanks

Since there are 35 kids, it may be difficult to do anything other than a typical team shot. You could always have 2 cheerleaders sit in the front, back to back with faces turned towards the camera. The important thing is to have everyface visible. You could do a lot more with smaller groups. In addition to the team shot, suggest that you take group shots such as of the Senior team members, Juniors etc..

This must've happened before. Go look at the Yearbooks for similar poses. Something different? Check about 20 different yearbooks.

Why not get a bigger back drop ... or shoot in the gym with some creative lighting so you don't need a backdrop at all?
You could even shoot from a ladder to shoot DOWN on the team .. so the gym floor could be your "background".

Do a google image search for "cheer team" ... LOADS of posing ideas there.
