Decided to drive out to Lake Michigan yesterday and shoot around Grand Haven's harbor lighthouse. It was quite the scene, I can't recall ever seeing the lake during the winter months.
Note: I broke my tripod early on and could not compose a shot for the life of me, but C/C still appreciated.

Nice texture Guess I'm not the olny one who drives to a great lakes shoreline to shoot wave sculptures. Fun stuff Has to be just the right day.

i actually think these are pretty well composed.

#1 and #5 do it for me. They remind me of when I lived back East and would freeeze during the winter. Nice shots.

It was just an off day for me and I wasn't too pleased with the trip overall.

You have every right to be pleased, those photos are a very nice set. As a fan of Grand Haven myself, I especially like #4 and #5.

One of the photographed lighthouses in the USA.

Never seen one like the ones....3,5 or 6.

Great series! #6 looks like some sort of alien being. BTW, I'm in Chicago, and it looks WAY to cold up there!!
