Hey all,

Well its snowing in Iowa, and its dang near a blizzard, and I'm on winter break from school. I would like to get some pictures of the falling snow but I'm needing of ideas (ie subject matter) I know I would like to turn it into a black and white to give it a more cold dreary feeling. What other techniques such as shutter speed, and aperture should I be using? I know a little longer shutter speed with give me more movement in the falling snow, but I don't want too much movement I'd guess. Just looking for some tips and ideas. Thanks!

Don't meter on the snow.. it'll cause it to be closer to middle gray! :)

Go +1 or +2 EV. Adjust it until it's right. Snow is really bright so it'll fool the meter.
