Can't post

I can't post or reply with Firefox.

Don't know if it's a problem on my end or coincidental with POTN problems.

Recent change I made:

- Installed Avast antivirus
- because of incompatibility with zonealarm I configured a manual proxy as they recommend: localhost to port 12080 (if I remember the port correctly)

Is this the problem, or is it just coincidental with a temporary flatulence problem POTN may be having?

(I'm on IE now)

Try clearing your FireFox cache.

Cleared the cache, no change.

Temporarily unconfigured the proxy, works fine.

Perhaps caused by the anonymity proxy checking?

If you refer to the thread Pekka made about proxy servers then the answer is no. That is just IP-bans off known proxy servers.

Yes, thanks. Guess I'll go back to AVG. Sigh. Everybody recommended Avast over AVG, but there's just too many problems using it.
