Hi,

I own both CP-10 and CP-100 printers. I now wonder if I will ever need a standard film camera again. Whilst the use of these printers directly from my IXUS V2 is great, I want to extend the use of the printer for other JPEGs that I have on my computer. I don't believe there is a direct cable-connect solution for pc to printer so I tried to just write the images directly to the compact flash card, but the camera does not recognize the files.

Has anybody ever tried this? I am thinking there is maybe a table of contents or definition file that is needed and the images must be a specific format. It would be nice if there was a software product and cable combination that would turn the CP-10/100 into a photographic printer direct from the PC.

Thanks in advance

Billy

There is a cable that can be bought (not on the Canon UK site though!) CCK-CP200 is the product number - have been quoted £35-99 by a company in Nottingham but not sure of timescales. If you can find somewhere that has it in stock in the UK would be very interested.

I too would be very interested if a cable is available in Nottingham or US or anywhere for that matter. I really like my CP-100, but I would welcome the opportunity to make it more versatile.

Hi,

Based on the part number, I found a number of sites in US that sell this item and ship directly to your door. US$59.99 + US$16.48 shipping. that makes it around UK£47.
