While not being super detailed and sharp since these were shot at night with 30 second+ exposures....I think they look pretty cool. Done on a construction yard in super darkness. I used the kit lense.

I didn't turn on the noise reduction feature on the cam because it takes like 20-30 seconds after the picture is finished to process. I'll experiment with that further.

Only editing was upping the brightness/contrast in photoshop.

Being a 3d modeller I've had my work stolen from me many times and it's rather annoying. It's made me rather paranoid.

I totally agree with tommykjensen on this.

i could understand your frustrations with people stealing you work. But your trademark logos could easily be whiped out with PS, and... The images are low res. I think it would be better to give you feedback minus the copyright info splattered across the middle of the picture. They are your pics, but it is rather frustrating to try and critique these photos with your copyright where it is.

Just my 2 cents.

It really wasn't my intention to start a discusion about protecting images.

However since these are some of the first real life photos from the XT I thought it was a shame they are ruined by a big logo.

Although I understand Your concern about people stealing Your work there really is nothing You can do when You publish it on the internet. If somebody want to steal the photos here they can just edit out the logo.

Except for not putting them on the internet the best thing You can do is just publish a low resolution version that does not print well but only looks good on screen. And then just put a smal logo/copyright in one of the corners of the photo or add a frame with the copyright.

Same on the 20D. I never use it because of that, and I really didn't find it helped all that much.

Get rid of that watermark, it's horrible. Otherwise, the 1st picture is very cool.

Thanks for the comments =)

wonderful photos Jackal, but what happened on the bottom-left corner in the first pic?

The light that was lighting up the side of the tank probably splashed a bit onto the ground.

@Andythaler
It's funny because everyone has told me that they don't look real :p
