Some from a couple of months ago when the camera was still very new to me. Learnt a lot since then from looking at the mistakes in these. Mainly DOF cockups. All taken with the canon 18-55 IS kit lens except #6 which was a Tamron 55-200 f/4-5.6. Some with a CPL.

Nice job. Looks like you had some good weather. When I was there it was overcast the entire time. Almost looks like a different place with the sun shining.

Depends when you go. This time of year usually clear but very cold (below freezing, occasionally a bit of snow). Summer usually blue skies. September and later can be more cloudy and hazy and humidity is right up.
